Description: Join members of the Teach Like a Champion Team in a day of learning! We will spend the morning focusing on the What to Do Cycle (What to Do, Radar, Be Seen Looking, Narrate the Positive, and Least Invasive Interventions) in order to support teachers in creating strong cultures that enable rigorous and engaging academic instruction to thrive and where students feel safe, successful, and known. In the afternoon, we will focus on Engaging Academics Techniques (Wait Time, Everybody Writes and Cold Call) that boost Participation and Think Ratio in the classroom. As part of attending this workshop, your school team will leave with an Implementation Tool Kit license. The school leader will receive a link to sign a license agreement and download copies of all workshop materials, as well as additional training materials, including
(1) Full description of all techniques, methods, and practice activities covered in the training,
(2) PowerPoint slides used in the workshop,
(3) Access to video clips shown and talking points for each clip, and
(4) Additional clips with complete talking points
Operational Excellence: Building the Foundations

Description: Operations leaders will learn how to establish Operational Excellence at their school or network. You will learn how to set a vision, create goals, and create an ops dashboard for data-driven decision-making and planning, in addition to creating structures aligned to those goals for comprehensive support, professional development, and progress monitoring. We’ll also discuss change management strategies to implement Ops Excellence well so that the positive impacts on your school last.
