Annual Conference

The annual charter school conference is the only statewide gathering of the entire Texas charter school community. More than 1,500 charter school advocates including teachers, administrators, board members, policy makers, and vendors will gather for training, networking, and sharing best practices for charter effectiveness and compliance.

15th Annual Texas Charter Schools Conference

The 2011-12 conference will be held at the Galveston Island Convention Center at the San Luis Resort on November 7-9, 2011. Mark this date on your school calendar for your board members, administrative team, and teachers.

The theme of this year’s conference is ”THRIVE: Learn, Perform, Shine.” The recent cuts to state funding presents an opportunity for charter schools to demonstrate what they have done best for years – THRIVE, even in challenging times. TCSA is planning a wide array of inspiring keynote speakers as well as informative breakout sessions that will help you propel students and schools during these next two years.

Call for Presentations

The Texas Charter Schools Association is now accepting presentation proposals for the 2011 Texas Charter School Conference. The DEADLINE to submit proposals is July 31, 2011 AT 5PM CST.

The Annual Conference Committee is responsible for setting the theme of the conference, securing keynote speakers, sponsors, and quality presenters for the breakout sessions. We welcome your feedback and input.
