TCSA Summer Training Opportunities

April 11, 2017

The Texas Charter Schools Association (TCSA) will launch several new training events this summer. TCSA scheduled trainings in June to prepare leaders at various levels within the charter system to improve student performance in preparation for the Texas Education Agency’s launch of the new A-F Accountability System in August 2018.

Is your charter system considering expansion? Charter leaders will discuss their experience with the expansion and growth process and their approach, specific recommendations, and action items. Campus administrators will have an opportunity to attend a half-day jump start training to prepare them for the demands of leading a charter campus. Campus administrators will also have a chance to learn how to build a strong campus culture, support struggling students using data to drive program selection and implementation, and how to mitigate exposure in the event of an active shooter. We hope you will be able to spend a few days with us this June.
